About Our Services

Bid Trawler helps companies win public contracts by streamlining the process of sourcing, reviewing, and bidding for contracts. The services includes filtering and matching contracts to your company profile, bid support through project management and bid writing assistance. On some plans it also includes bid writing, and providing business insights to make informed bidding decisions and understand your competition.

Bid Trawler caters to various sectors, including Construction/Building, Grounds Maintenance, Facilities Management, CCTV, Recruitment, Catering, Commercial Cleaning, Tree Services, Gardening, Fire Safety, Security, IT Consulting/Software, PR & Media, Playpark Construction, Lift Maintenance, and Waste Management.

Bid Trawler provides their client portal to supply your business with filtered and match contract notifications, allows you to request bid packs and before you even put pen to paper we have reviewed the bid packs to make the qualification a time saving exercise highlighting problems with the bid packs or the contract. After we agree the contract is suitable then we work with you and completely write the bid with you keeping alignment via our digital portal or slack communication channels put in place for each client. Post bid submission reviews are carried out if it is a single stage giving valuable business insights.

Bid Trawler does not scrape websites, instead it manually selects contracts suitable for our clients. It also offers a comprehensive end-to-end approach by not only providing contract notifications but also offering hands-on support to review contract documentation, competitor insights with past contract details and values, continual reviews and a bid writing service. In addition we provide onboarding assistance in the form of a bid library for your company, ensuring you are bid-ready and saving you even more time.

The Starter Plan is priced at £150 per month, suitable for all companies wishing to build out their bid experience and support in a modular fashion but with expert help. We also have a Partnership Plan Service plan for clients who require us to create a complete bespoke plan for their needs with a full end to end service. 

No is the short answer. If you are on the Starter Plan then you have the choice to pay for a bid writer or do the application yourself. Any bid writing will be a standalone service for the Starter Plan and as such is required paid for in advance. If you are on our Partnership Plan then you have a provision for 1 bid per month with additional bid writing resource available should you require.

In our client portal, you have a vast array of services from Policy documents written for you, to full Framework, DPS or Bid Writing services. When you join our service you have instant access to whatever you need. You can pay direct within the portal.

There are no hidden fees. The service plans are priced at a flat monthly rate, and you can cancel at any time after our 3 month minimum period.

We use Stripe as our payment processor no matter what plan you are on so all payment methods are accepted to initiate the portal access.

Sometimes we have promotions such as our January 4 weeks free trial on the starter pack. On our Partnership Plan there is an annual discount also available. Book a call to find out more.

Pricing & Payments

Getting Started & Account Setup

To get started, you can schedule a video call through their website to discuss your company's needs and how Bid Trawler can assist you. Alternatively you can WhatsApp us for more information if you prefer to use that channel.

Our setup process usually takes 24hrs for client portal access for our Starter Plan. For our partnership plan we can also have that setup within 24hrs however will require contracts to be signed and an NDA to be completed. For detailed information, it is best to contact us directly.

Both service plans are a minimum 3 months subscription, and then on a monthly subscription basis and can be cancelled at any time, providing flexibility for your company.

Since the service plans are on a monthly basis after the minimum 3 month term, they can be cancelled at any time. Simply contact Bid Trawler directly to manage your subscription or via your client portal.

There is no contract agreement for the Starter Plan, however for our Partnership Plan we have a contractual agreement which outlines our terms and conditions. A copy can be obtained directly from Bid Trawler by contacting kim@bidtrawler.com.

There is a 3 month minimum commitment period; the service plans operate on a monthly basis with the option to cancel at any time.
